The staff of Yishun Town Secondary School organised a workshop entitled "Values Across The Curriculum" for teachers on 28 June 1997. The entire staff took part wholeheartedly in the "hands-on" session which generated much laughter.

Members of the teaching staff at Chung Cheng High School (Main) stretched their vocal chords and belted out popular songs to the delight and cheers of their students. The concert was organised as part of the efforts to improve relations between staff and students.

A multi-ethnic cast of teachers took to the stage for a change and enacted a Sikh Wedding Ceremony as part of the school’s commemoration of Racial Harmony Day. The ceremony has helped staff and students to better understand the culture of other races.
