COVER

In the cover picture, the small palm prints represent the young in Singapore and the circle represents unity. The picture, in the middle, of old Singapore is a representation of the past that the young should be aware of. Taken together, the picture resembles a sun and its reflecting rays, a sign of their bright future ahead.

The Vanda Miss Joaquim, which is Singapore’s national flower, is depicted in a flowing motion, representing Singapore’s glorious transition from the past to the present. The flower, cutting through the picture, is a revelation and appreciation of our past to our young.

MASTHEAD
The masthead shows a mirror image of the word Contact. It reflects the symbiotic relationship between the Ministry of Education and schools. It highlights the open communication lines between the Ministry and the schools in every contact both make with each other.
