THE INFOCOMM Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) has launched the Neu PC Programme to enable lowerincome families to own a personal computer (PC).

Families with a monthly gross household income not exceeding S$2,000 can either purchase a new PC at less than S$300, or receive a refurbished one for free. The PC is installed with Microsoft Windows and Works, and comes with a one-year carry-in warranty, one-year Pacific Internet subscription and free basic IT training under the National IT Literacy Programme.

To find out how you can help your students own PCs, log on to www.ecelebrations.gov.sg/neupc.html to check out details on the eligibility criteria, PC specifications and where to send applications to. You can also email lim_ee_fang@ida.gov.sg if you have further enquiries.
